This section explains how we handle packing and delivery of orders from our book shop. Our aim is, where practical, to process all orders within 24 hours from receipt of payment. We deliver worldwide and accept payment in either £sterling, €euros or US Dollars.For pharmacy orders, please see "Pharmacy delivery".
Book Shop Delivery charges
Each book has a range of postage costs associated with it, depending which region in the world the order is being shipped from/to. As books can be heavy and are often shipped directly from the publisher, the price you pay is the sum of the individual shipping costs for the order.Book Shop Method of delivery?
Books posted to a UK address are send by the standard Royal Mail postal service. Books posted to non-UK addresses are generally sent Royal Mail Printed papers. If you desire a different service please ask for options/prices.Book Shop Delivery timescales
Our aim is, where practical, to process all orders within 24 hours from receipt of payment.Your order may be fulfilled by 5M and/or a number of different distributors. Upon completion of your order you will receive an email confirming your order details, broken down by distributor name. Each distributor will deliver their portion of the order. 5M aims to deliver products from its own stock within the following delivery time scales:
5 working days for UK deliveryHowever, the above time frames assume our carriers and any associated local carriers deliver within their own stated time frames. As their performance is beyond our control we unable to guarantee these time scales will be met in every case, thus please allow 28 days for delivery.
8 working days for European delivery
15 working days for Worldwide delivery
If your order is urgent please contact us and we can provide a guaranteed delivery service at additional charge.
Out of stock books
Whilst every effort is made to ensure we do not offer for sale out of stock books, sometimes a distributor(s) fail to alert us to this fact.If a book you have ordered is not in stock at the time of placing your order, we will let you know the expected delivery timescale and provide you with the option of waiting, changing or cancelling your order for a full refund.
Signature on delivery?
Items sent by Royal Mail (UK or abroad) use the standard mail service and as such do not need to be signed for. However, if at your request we have used a carrier, a signature may be needed and you will be advised if this is the case.Book Shop Delivery contact details:
